A class for creative kids to expand on their knowledge, learn fun techniques and grow their love for art! Throughout the term we will look at a range of skills and ideas that encourage individual imagination and design, using classic materials such as acrylic and water paints, pastels, pencils and more. Learn how to make your mark using aerosol spray paint cans and stencils.
Inspired by artists like Flox, Banksy and C215, students will learn how to safely and effectively cut their own stencils using blades and layer spray paint for maximum effect!
Cost: $60 pp (+booking fee)

Age range: 10+ (Mature behaviour required for safety due to materials used)
Time: 10am - 2pm
Duration: 4 hours (including lunch break)

NOTE:
1) Students to bring their own food and drinks for lunch break.
2) Wear clothes and shoes that are appropriate for paint (spray paint can drift and drip).
SAFETY NOTE:
1) Disposable respirator masks will be provided but if you have your own masks then please feel free to use them instead
2) Anyone with asthmatic conditions should come prepared with inhalers as fumes can cause irritation

Bring along a book of your choosing (suggested hard cover visual diary or diary) and turn the front cover into a piece of art, transforming the ordinary into something unique and personal.
Using a variety of supplies and techniques you will be guided through the process of building and layering elements to create a beautiful keepsake featuring a door or window in a style of your choosing.
Beginners welcome, as you will be expertly guided by Belinda from Visualised - with all materials provided, except the book.
Please bring a book to decorate that is between A5 and A4 in size.

Basic skill of wet felting: Three dimensional items like a ball - warm water soap and motion will work magic.

'101' describes a beginners/foundations skills class - just like your first year papers at Uni!
Students will provide their own "blank canvas" to create on, whether a t-shirt, hoodie, or a tote bag...you can create your own design and learn the technique of screen-printing!
First students will create a design and cut it out on a OHT (Overhead Transparency) ready to attach to a provided screen.
Then we will explore a few options for colouring and printing your design on your canvas!
Students are welcome to try out more than one design, within the given time frame.
Paint, screens and other material provided. Students to provide their own 'canvas' (tshirt, hoodie, tote bag etc. You can bring more than one item to print on - MUST BE COTTON!!! Not polyester)

Imagine a table filled with all kinds of junk... bits and pieces...house hold items...old toys...empty bottles...
Now imagine what you can BUILD from that junk!!
Guided by your tutor Laura Hewetson (creator of the Pop Up Penguin "Punk It"), students will explore and create their very own super rad creation, using a range of materials.
Gluing, spray painting, decorating their work, creating a one-of-a-kind "Junk Toy"!
Fun for ages 7y + (younger kids are welcome but will need an active guardian/helper on site) - use of scissors and hot glue.
